Africa-
A lot of music as started from Africa, Africa is a rich continent filled with Culture and traditions, Musicis one of the most important.
Although a lot of music from Africa are not top of the charts in the World most Africans have made theire names in history.
Brenda Fassie is a very popular woman and is dubbed the Queen of African Pop, she made a big influence in Africa with some of her inspiring yet enjoyable music like Vuli Ndela.
Another Artist eho has made his make in the U.K and America Is D-banj a Nigerian artist who has made an impact in the African Industry, he also won Mtv African Music Awards.
Also another Artist coming from Nigeria is Asa with her wonderful songs heard around europe and indeed Africa.
Africa has produced a lot of music and are still making music, it is really special hearing african music because as well as listening to it they always have special morals behind it.

Europe
Alphabeat- Alphabeat are a danish pop band from Silkeborg Denmark,they came into the limelight around 2008 were they hit the uk top charts with the single Fascination, A lot of europeans are coming into the music scene and making a name for themselves like David Guetta who is very popular at the moemnt with hits with Akon, Kelly Rowland and many more.
Another Popular Artist is Basshunter who is more famous within the dance Genre he his from Sweden;which is home to another famous artist Agnes Carlsson who has one of the most beautiful voices of this generation.
There are many more artist who come from Europe but the biggest would be the United Kingdom, which is home to most of the artist that are upcoming and also that who have past e.g Leona Lewis, JlS, Sir Cliff Richard, The Rolling Stones, Chipmunk, N-Dubz, George Micheal and Oasis.

Pop Music

There are different genres in music, from pop to metal but pop as to be the most popular, hence why it is shortended to pop.
Pop also as its influences from jazz,gospel music,and also rap.Pop music as generated a lot of audience since the late 50's with it"s catchy beats and chessy lines.A lot of pop music are targeted at the youth, which has been succesful in the past and in the present.
A good example of a pop group that had an influence on the world were the Beatles,with hit songs like yellow submarine.Another Big selling artist and also dubbed the king of pop is Micheal Jackson,Micheal Jackson is one the most popular and most influencial pop artist in the world, with over 750 million albums sold worldwide. He influenced many stars like Justin Timberlake,and even in the rnb world Usher.
Micheal jackson has had huge tributes, one of the most popular were by the inmates in Cebu Provisional detention centre in the Philippines.
Music has an influence in the world whether the person is in America or uganda. Music is a global epidemic.
